  1. We welcome H.E. the new Ambassador Mr. David Reimer and his entire family to our peaceful land Sierra Leone. The US government past and current diplomatic appointees, are well qualified in doing their jobs, taking up their assignments with seriousness. The whole world today, US is both mother and father of” DEMOCRACY”, we have experienced that in the 2020 presidential election. Again, welcome Mr. Ambassador David Reimer, we are looking forward to working with you. Good luck. May God bless Sierra Leone.

  2. Welcome to our great nation called Sierra Leone. I have no doubt that you will love staying in Sierra Leone because, Sierra Leone there is no Harm to strangers/foreigners. Here, it is a place of peace.

  3. This is another evidence that the international community is highly represented in Sierra Leone and is aware of what is happening in the country.

  4. As we welcome the new US ambassador David Reimer and his family to our shores, it is important we remember the good work the previous ambassador Maria E Brewer, did for our country during her tenure. Her commitment to our country, and in the process rendering unequivocal and unflinching support to the people of Sierra Leone, during the unprecedented and unpredictable Trump administration, was something to behold. The foundation stone and pillars of building a stronger relationship between our two countries is already there. We just need to build on it. I hope that given the track record listed of the new Ambassador and his service to his country in different capacities, and his service to some African countries, will quickly get to grips with what is needed in our country.

80% of Africa’s problems of poor governance, and African governments’ failure to meet the needs of their people are uniform and unique to this vast mineral rich continent. Right now more than ever, as the world and especially African countries grapple with access to the COVID19 pandemic vaccines and how the United States will help countries like ours get our population vaccinated, your mission in our country has never been so vital and richly deserve. As a people we hope you will help us meet the present challenges facing our country, like corruption, respect of the rule of law, free press and most importantly investing in our people to help in poverty reduction. Apart from COVID19 pandemic, the greatest challenge facing our country is the issue of tackling corruption and how we can rebuild our country’s sluggish economy. Welcome to the Ambassador and his family.
